Az Ingram Micro Magyarország Kft. jogelődjét Walton Computers Kft. néven 1984-ben alapították. Kezdetben rendkívül szerteágazó tevékenységet folytatott, majd 1987-ben a Novell disztribúciós szerződés aláírásával Magyarországon elsőként kezdte meg a hagyományos, kétlépcsős számítástechnikai disztribúciót (nagykereskedelmet). A következő években a cég tevékenységében a disztribúció egyre nagyobb szerepet kapott.

1991-ben tulajdonosváltás, valamint névcsere történt. Erősödött a hálózati fókusz, mely az új cégnévben is megjelent: Walton Networking Kft.

1999 szeptemberében az Ingram Micro 100%-os tulajdonossá vált a cégben. A régi-új cég az új lehetőségeket kihasználva nagyarányú portfolió-bővítésbe kezdett, megjelentek a termékskálában a személyi számítógépek és a perifériák is.

2000 márciusában a megváltozott tulajdonoshoz és termékskálához igazodóan, a cég felvette az anyavállalat nevét, megalakult az Ingram Micro Magyarország. Ezzel Magyarország egyik piacvezető számítástechnikai disztribútora lett.


Voiteq wurde im Jahr 2001 gegründet und war der erste Vertriebspartner, der die Vocollect Sprachlösung nach Großbritannien und Irland brachte. Das Unternehmen wurde von einem Team gegründet, das bereits erfolgreich ein vollständiges sprachgeführtes WMS in der Lebensmittel-Kette ‘Heald’s Day & Nite’ entwickelt und eingeführt hatte. Noch heute arbeiten die Gründer für das Unternehmen.

Durch die Erfahrungen im Einzelhandel, in der IT und bei Sprachlösungen durch Heald’s, wuchs und entwickelte Voiteq seine Lösungen, die auf der Vocollect Sprachtechnologie basieren, weiter. Im Jahr 2009 bildete Voiteq eine Muttergesellschaft, die Centriq Group, und erwarb Cirrus Logistics, der ein Spezialist  für Lagersimulationssoftware ist.

Mit einem “Wir können das” Ansatz,  ist Voiteq stolz darauf UK’s größter Vertreiber von sprachgeführten Lösungen zu sein, der bereits den Großteil der UK basierten sprachgeführten Lagerhäuser mit Hardware, Software, Service und Support versorgt hat.
